Windows® ReadyBoost™ technology
Windows® ReadyBoost™ is one of Microsoft® Windows® Vista's innovative features that enables computer users simply connect a removable flash memory device, such as a USB pen drive, SD card, CF card or other memory form to boost system performance of desktop or notebook computer. When take the USB pen drive or flash card out of the computer, the system will automatically go back to its original settings. To use Windows® ReadyBoost™, computer must be preinstalled with Windows® Vista™ and have access to a non-volatile flash memory buffer with at least 512MB of physical storage capacity (Microsoft recommends 1GB minimum).
