A common cause for error is an insufficient power supply.
To ensure your DVD writer receives enough power, connect the included USB cable directly to a USB port on your computer. For optimal performance, use a USB 3.0, 3.1, or 3.2 port. Plug the power cord if you are using a laptop.
Please avoid using USB hubs, extension cables or other USB devices, as they often will not supply sufficient power to a portable DVD writer.
